Welcome to The Potter's Lathe, LLC. My name is Jessica Smith and I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with 3 1/2 years of experience working with couples, individuals, and families. My desire to be a therapist came from seeing the impact that specialized guidance has had and continues to have on my own life. Having experienced a wide variety of family issues myself, it became necessary for me to begin resolving some of them as I became a wife and mother. I recognized how my experiences shaped me and began to see how I in turn was shaping my husband and children. Abuse, abandonment, spiritual trauma, natural disasters, and other life threatening situations are not things that I was able to just forget. With great guidance, I have been able to heal from it. Therapy has been life changing for me and my honest desire is that maybe it can be for you too. You are invited to lead me into your life so we can begin the process of change together.
